Because Only Together We Can
Support Families Facing Serious Illness with Hope, Strength & Compassion
Who We Are
Partnering to Support Families Facing Cancer & Heart Disease.
The Julie Davies Foundation is a South Wales-based charity dedicated to helping children and young people (aged 0-18) affected by cancer and heart conditions. Established in 2021 in memory of Julie Davies, our mission is to provide financial support to families facing serious illness—ensuring they receive the help they need during life’s most challenging times.
Run entirely by volunteers, every donation and fundraising effort directly contributes to supporting local families. Whether it’s covering essential costs, providing small grants, or funding vital services, we are committed to making a difference where it’s needed most. Together, with the support of our community, we strive to ease the burden on families, giving them hope and strength when they need it most.

What We Do
Supporting Families, Building Hope
At our foundation, we’re dedicated to supporting families across South Wales who are caring for a child with cancer or a heart condition.
We provide small grants to ease financial pressures, build community connections, and offer emotional strength and hope during the most difficult times.
Through fundraising events, local partnerships, and awareness campaigns, we bring people together to make a real difference.
Every family’s journey is unique, and our compassionate approach ensures they get the practical support they need.
Together with our supporters, we’re creating a stronger, more caring network for families in need.
Impact Stories
Darcy
We would like to say, on behalf of Darcy, and as a family a huge thank you for the support from Julie‘s foundation. It’s a devastating time when you find out your child has cancer and the financial burden to the family can be hard especially when one or both parents aren’t able to work to support a child going through treatment. The support we received was extremely kind and helpful, and we are so thankful. Xx
Darcy’s mum
Aston
We are so very grateful for the donation made towards Aston’s fund for his medical care by Julie’s Foundation.
Without the contributions made by our community and charities such as these, we may never have had the opportunity to get Aston to Singapore for the treatment he has received; treatment that has drastically changed his prognosis.
Thank you to all involved.
